Clinical Applications & Experience 22 It is clear that Pink Hip Kit® has many advantages: first of all, neither the positioning of the patient nor the positioning of the C-arm is hindered by the shape-conforming pad, either in anteroposterior or lateral position. In addition, Trendelenburg angles were moderate so it did not affect patient hemodynamics. In conclusion, the Pink Hip Kit® postless system allows for distraction to reduce and fix femoral fractures using standard nails in patients with multiple injuries and pelvic ring fractures. Our study confirms the safety and efficacy of this technique which guarantees an optimal distraction for fracture reduction and a very low rate of pelvic complications. References: 1.
